What Can I use the Green Seasoning on?

It’s great for stews, sauces, curries, soups, or use in your marinades. I add it to most dishes from chicken wings to steaks for that extra burst of flavor.

My daughter confessed she has used it as a spread on several occasions. Not to yuck her yum but YUCK! lol

If you try it as a spread and like it – Pleaseeeeee come back and let me know in the comments!

Got Leftovers?

How To Store Your Green Seasoning in the Fridge?

Store your green seasoning in an air-tight container in the refrigerator. I typically use an old jerk seasoning jar, marinara sauce jar, and or old seasoning jar. Use what you already have in your cupboard. This will last 1-2 months in the refrigerator.

I recommend placing a piece of cling wrap over the opening of your storage container before you close it. This helps to prevent odor transfer to other items in your refrigerator.

How To Store Your Green Seasoning in the Freezer?

You can make additional quantities and freeze them in ice cube trays, after they are frozen, remove the cubes from the trays and store them in freezer bags. Thaw before use.

Kerri’s Recipe Tips

  • This will last 2-4 months in the refrigerator.
  • You can make additional quantities and freeze them in ice cube trays, after they are frozen, remove the cubes from the trays and store them in freezer bags. Thaw before use.
  • You can add a piece of cling wrap over the opening of your storage container before you close it. This helps to prevent odor transfer to other items in your refrigerator.
  • I ALWAYS recommend reading through the recipe in full a couple of times before starting. That way you know exactly what to expect and you can prep accordingly.
  • Gather all your ingredients before cooking. This way you don’t forget to add an ingredient or two. Believe me, It has happened so many times so I use “mise en place” to save my sanity and the recipe.
